About

Design exerts a substantial but subtle influence on society, shaping the way we receive and interpret information. It is the vision and voice of every public message. We as a design community are privileged to bear the great responsibility of being the conservators of mass media. In an ever intensifying communication bricolage, good design often is the difference between your message having the competitive advantage and being lost in the din. Creativity is the ability to see opportunities where others can’t, and have the tools at your disposal to take advantage of it. It is problem solving in the raw, and it is my passion.

I am a graphic artist based in Washington, DC, holding a BFA in Graphic Information Design from George Mason University, and am skilled in both print and web design, with experience conceptualizing and building user interfaces, interactive features, and information architecture. I am particularly interested in helping progressive nonprofits, local musicians and groups, arts organizations, and other grassroots movements with web and graphic design.

All designs created for MV+A and DDIS were produced while on staff unless otherwise noted.
